NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Deputy sheriffs on Sunday busted a party of more than 167 people in Brooklyn amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Police discovered the illegal bottle club located at 2929 Atlantic Avenue near Ashford Street in Cypress Hills at around 3:30 a.m., officials said.

Five organizers were charged with multiple misdemeanors, administrative code, health code & ABC law offenses, authorities said.

"11/08/20 @ 0330HRS: Deputy Sheriffs shut down illegal bottle club @ 2929 Atlantic Ave, Brooklyn: 167+ people, violation of emergency orders, no liquor license, obstructed egress, 5 organizers charged with multiple misdemeanors, Administrative Code, Health Code & ABC Law offenses," authorities posted on Twitter.

Recently, the New York City Sheriffs' office also busted a Halloween party at a NYC warehouse with over 550 people, officials said.
