NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Wednesday released a photo of a shirtless suspect accused of attacking a man in the head with a chair and scooter inside a Queens subway station over the weekend.
At approximately 9:35 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21, a 53-year-old man was standing on the northbound platform at the Grand Avenue-Newtown subway station in Elmhurst when he was engaged in a dispute by the suspect.
The suspect began to repeatedly strike the victim in the head with a chair and a scooter before fleeing out of the station to parts unknown.
EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/ Elmhurst where he is listed in stable condition.
The suspect was last seen wearing no shirt, navy blue pants, and white sneakers.
