NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police are searching for a suspect who shot a 19-year-old man multiple times on a Bronx street on Wednesday, sending him to the hospital.
The victim was in front of 995 Simpson St., near East 163rd Street in Longwood, at 10:30 p.m. when a stranger began a verbal fight with him.
The altercation escalated when the suspect shot the 19-year-old multiple times throughout the body, and then fled the scene eastbound on East 163rd Street in a dark-colored four-door sedan.
EMS rushed the man to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition.
