NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Two men were shot inside an event space in Queens early Saturday morning and were hospitalized, one with a head wound, the NYPD said.
The shooting happened at 4:22 a.m. inside of Amazura, which describes itself as a concert hall and event space. Amazura is located at 91-12 144th Place.
When police responded to the nightclub, they found a 29-year-old man shot in the left leg and a 56-year-old man with a graze wound to the head.
Both men were transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. The 29-year-old is in stable condition, and the 56-year-old is likely to live, police said.
An investigation is ongoing.
