NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Protestors will converge outside 30 Rock in Manhattan this Saturday following a “Saturday Night Live” skit about COVID-19 vaccinations in Israel.
Former Brooklyn Assemblyman Dov Hikind on Tuesday announced in a YouTube video that the protest will happen on Saturday at 9 p.m. outside NBC’s West 49th Street headquarters
“We are going to NBC to educate, not to crucify anybody," Hikind said. "We are going there to say this is not funny -- Antisemitism is never funny. Period.”
Hikind and Sid Rosenberg, co-host of WABC’s “Bernie and Sid in the Morning” radio show, will be leading the protest.
A Weekend Update “Saturday Night Live” skit with Michael Che sparked outrage after Che joked “Israel is reporting that they’ve vaccinated half of their population. I’m going to guess it’s the Jewish half.”
