NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A Staten Island man was arrested Monday after allegedly forcibly touching and attempting to kidnap a 14-year-old girl on Staten Island over the weekend.
According to police, 46-year-old Lowman Venable approached the teen outside a Richmond Terrace location and persuaded her to accompany him to a nearby deli before convincing her to enter a taxi.
Venable then allegedly drove the girl to an unknown location, where he grabbed her buttocks.
The girl was able to escape and run away from the scene.
Venable was charged with attempted kidnapping and forcible touching.
