NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A carjacker dumped a stolen vehicle on a road in Queens and set it on fire late Sunday night, causing an explosion, police said.
Police responded to the stolen Honda Accord engulfed in flames on Midland Parkway, near Dalny Road in Jamaica Estates, at about 11:50 p.m.
The suspect was last seen headed southbound on Midland Parkway toward Hillside Avenue wearing a white shirt and black pants.
No one was injured in relation to the incident, officials said.
