
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A thief pummeled and robbed a 67-year-old man at the Atlantic Avenue–Barclays Center station in Downtown Brooklyn this week, police said Tuesday.
An image from the NYPD shows the suspect sought in Sunday evening's attack at the busy transit hub.
The victim was in the station around 7:30 p.m. when the suspect came up and punched him in the face repeatedly, police said.
The crook then snatched the victim's bag and wallet before fleeing, according to cops.
The victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries, including a laceration to his nose.
