NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A man was seriously injured Tuesday when a stranger bashed his face with a bottle in a random attack at the Yankee Stadium subway station in the Bronx, police said.
The NYPD released surveillance images Wednesday of the suspect, who remains at large.
The victim was waiting on the southbound 4 platform at the 161st Street–Yankee Stadium station in Highbridge at 4 a.m. when he was assaulted, according to cops.

A person unknown to the victim came up and struck him in the face with a glass bottle, police said.
Shattered class cut the victim's face and eye. He was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was in serious but stable condition.
The suspect fled the station in an unknown direction.
