NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man was beaten and robbed as he rode a J train through Chinatown last weekend, police said Thursday as they released images of the suspect.

The 40-year-old victim was on a southbound train headed towards the Canal Street station at 6:30 p.m. last Saturday when he was attacked by another man, police said.

The attacker pummeled his face and stole his cellphone before fleeing the train, according to cops.

The victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was listed in stable condition.
