NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A subway rider was slashed on an Upper West Side station on Wednesday, police said, as the NYPD searched for an attacker who fled the scene.
The rider was standing on a platform at the 96th Street 1/2/3 station shortly before 12 p.m. when a man slashed him or her, according to police.

The victim was taken to St. Luke's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The suspect fled northbound on Broadway and is believed to be shirtless.
