
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A man stabbed a subway rider in the neck during a dispute on a 3 train in Brooklyn last week, police said Wednesday as they released images of the suspect.
The stabbing happened Thursday night on a Manhattan-bound train rolling through Brownsville, just east of the Saratoga Avenue station.
The 35-year-old victim and his attacker got into an argument on the train around 9:40 p.m., police said.
During the spat, the suspect whipped out a sharp weapon and plunged it into the other man’s neck, according to police.
The victim was left bloodied by the puncture wound but survived and was transported by EMS to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in stable condition.
His attacker was last seen fleeing at the Saratoga Avenue stop, police said.
