NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police arrested a suspect on Monday night after he shoved two men onto the tracks at a Lower Manhattan subway station, the NYPD said.

Terrell Coley is accused of knocking two men, ages 71 and 30, onto the tracks at the Whitehall Street-South Ferry subway station in the Financial District at about 10:30 p.m.

The suspect allegedly punched the younger victim and pushed the older man, causing them to fall onto the tracks. EMS responded and transported the men to local hospitals where they were listed in stable condition.

Coley, 35, was arrested and charged with assault and reckless endangerment, police said.

Investigators have not yet determined the motive for the attack, authorities said.
