NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released images of a suspect Tuesday in the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old woman in Queens last week.

The victim, Dashanna Donovan, was shot and killed inside her home at 26-30 96th St. in East Elmhurst.

According to police, NYPD officers responded to a 911 call about an assault in progress at the home around 9:20 p.m. Friday.

When they arrived, they found Donovan with a gunshot wound to the head. She was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.

Surveillance images show the male suspect wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black sneakers, and carrying a black book bag.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are under investigation.

No arrests have been reported.
