NEW YORK (1001 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for a man wanted in connection with an armed car jacking that occurred in the Bronx earlier this month.
At approximately 2:20 a.m., on Tuesday, October 17, a 42-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man were seated inside of their vehicle in front of 431 Timpson Pl. in Mott Haven when they were approached by four male suspects, officials said.
One of the suspects displayed a firearm and forced the victims out of the vehicle and demanded the keys.
One of the men entered the vehicle and fled eastbound on Bruckner Boulevard, followed by the three other suspects who were parked in a black SUV nearby.
The victims were not injured during the incident.
The suspect sought was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, red matching sweatpants, and black sneakers.
