
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police released an image Tuesday of a suspect in a stabbing on a 7 train this week that left a man in critical condition.
The 25-year-old victim was stabbed Sunday night near the 111th Street station in Corona.
According to police, the suspect approached the victim from behind around 11:30 p.m. and stabbed him multiple times in the back with a sharp object.
The suspect fled before EMS arrived and rushed the victim to New York-Presbyterian in Queens. He was listed in critical condition.
The suspect is believed to be in his early 20s, police said.
