NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD Hate Crime Task Force released surveillance video on Thursday of a man they are looking to identify for shoving a 64-year-old Jewish man to the ground while yelling antisemitic slurs in Brooklyn earlier this week.
The incident occurred around 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday, July 21, at the intersection of Kings Highway and Ocean Avenue in Madison.
According to police, the suspect approached the 64-year-old victim, shoved him to the ground, and shouted anti-Jewish remarks before fleeing the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
The victim suffered injuries to his back and waist as a result of the fall. EMS responded to the scene and transported him to Maimonides Midwood Community Hospital, where he was treated in stable condition.
