NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a suspect wanted for slashing a man in the face while he was outside a Bronx subway station on Sunday afternoon.

It happened outside the Kingsbridge Road 4 train station located at the intersection of Jerome Avenue and West Kingsbridge Road just before 3:30 p.m., officials said.

The suspect slashed a 29-year-old man in the face with a cutting instrument before fleeing on foot, police said.

The victim suffered a laceration to the face and was taken by medics to Saint Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.

Police released surveillance images of the suspected assailant on Monday that show him clad in a green hooded sweatshirt, black balaclava, white sunglasses, black sweatpants and light-colored sneakers.
