NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for two men wanted for spraying an irritant into a Manhattan Snipes sneakers and apparel store during a robbery they carried out last month, the NYPD said.

The robbery occurred at 5:45 p.m. on Feb. 19 at a Hudson Heights Snipes, located at 620 West 181st St. near Wadsworth Avenue.

The suspects entered and sprayed an unidentified substance on the floor which caused the employees to cough and experience irritation to their eyes, cops said.

Officials said that the men grabbed various clothing items and fled without paying in an unknown direction.

Police on Monday released surveillance video of one suspect walking down the street with his hands full of items.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
