NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released images Monday of multiple people wanted for smashing a yellow taxi in Midtown during a rowdy Knicks celebration last week.

Videos on social media show a crowd climbing onto the taxi and jumping on the hood and windshield as Knicks fans reveled in the team's 107-106 comeback in Game 4 against the Spurs on Wednesday night.

The NYPD released images of three men who allegedly damaged the windshield and hood of the cab at West 36th Street and Seventh Avenue around 12:35 a.m. Thursday.

According to police, 56 people were taken into custody that night as “crowds became increasingly destructive” around Madison Square Garden, jumping on top of vehicles, throwing glass bottles, getting into fights and setting off fireworks.

Another 63 people were arrested Saturday night into Sunday morning as Knicks fans erupted in Midtown over the team's championship win, police said. There was one shooting, four stabbings and multiple cases of vehicles being damaged and destroyed, including school buses that were smashed or set on fire. Ten NYPD officers were injured, including one who was punched and another who was struck with a glass bottle, police said.
