NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for suspects wanted for violently robbing two teens in the Bronx last week, authorities said.
At approximately 2:40 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7, an 18-year-old man and 16-year-old boy were approached by a group of unidentified individuals at the intersection of East 165th Street and Grant Avenue in Concourse Village.
According to police, the suspects put the 16-year-old boy into a chokehold and kicked him. Another suspect then displayed a knife and stabbed the 18-year-old victim in the torso.
The suspects stole a pair of sneakers and a cellphone from the 18-year-old victim before fleeing the scene on foot to parts unknown.
The 18-year-old victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition. The 16-year-old victim refused medical attention.
