NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released photos on Wednesday of a teen wanted for allegedly punching an MTA bus driver in the face in Queens earlier this week.

It happened at about 6:30 p.m. on Monday in front of the Shops at Atlas Park in Glendale, police said.

The teen—who police said is between the ages of 16 and 18, 5 feet 8 inches tall with a slim build and brown eyes— allegedly punched the on-duty bus operator after a verbal dispute.

He fled the scene eastbound on Cooper Avenue and was last seen wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and light-colored shoes.

Medics transported the 47-year-old bus driver to Long Island Jewish Forest Hills/Northwell Health in stable condition.

Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-577-TIPS.
