Teen robbed by 10 people outside Barclays Center

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 17-year-old man was attacked and robbed by approximately 10 individuals near the Barclays Center, police said Tuesday as they release images of three of the suspects sought.

At approximately 3:30 PM on Monday, 10 unknown individuals approached the victim in front of the Barclays Center.

The group repeatedly kicked and punched the victim in the head and body, causing him to drop his belongings, police said.

When the victim attempted to retrieve his property, the attackers kicked and punched him again, removing the victim’s cellphone and tablet before fleeing the scene.

The individuals fled on foot into the Atlantic Avenue train station. Minor injuries were sustained by the victim, who did not need immediate medical attention.

The NYPD is asking for public assistance in identifying the whereabouts of the individuals involved in this robbery.
