NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a suspect who slashed a 19-year-old victim in the neck during a fight at a Brooklyn subway station on Friday night.
Just after 9:45 p.m., the victim engaged in a verbal altercation with an unknown man as they were exiting the Utica Avenue subway station at Eastern Parkway and Schenectady Avenue in Crown Heights.
Police said that during the dispute, the suspect approached the victim and used a knife to slash him across the right side of his neck.
EMS rushed the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County in stable condition, officials said.
The suspect fled eastbound on Eastern Parkway.
In surveillance images released by police on Saturday, the suspect is wearing gray sweatpants, a gray hoodie over a brimmed cap, gray sneakers and a dark-colored vest.
