NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 19-year-old man stabbed his father to death before barricading himself in their Queens home early Thursday morning, according to police.

Arthur E. Walker allegedly stabbed his father, also named Arthur Walker, around 12:47 a.m. at a row house on 230th Street near 146th Avenue by John F. Kennedy International Airport.

When police arrived on the scene, the younger man reportedly attempted to barricade himself inside the home.

Once officers got inside, they found the younger Walker holding a knife and his father lying on the ground with stab wounds to his chest. Police tased the alleged attacker and placed him in custody.

EMS rushed the victim to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Police brought the younger Walker to Long Island Jewish Medical Center for evaluation, and later charged him with murder and weapon possession.
