
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A trio of teens stole Citi Bikes from two men in a knifepoint robbery in Central Park on Wednesday afternoon, police said Thursday.
The three male teens targeted the men, ages 25 and 26, as they were on the bikes near E. 79th Street and Fifth Avenue around 3:25 p.m., the New York Post reported.
One of the teens said, “That’s our bike,” and then another teen took out a knife, police said.
The two men handed over the bikes and were not injured. They later reported the robbery to police.
No arrests had been reported as of Thursday.
