NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Wednesday released video footage of a man accused of pistol-whipping an employee at Atlantic Center and stealing over $5,600 last month.
At approximately 5 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9, the suspect entered a store at store inside Atlantic Center located 625 Atlantic Ave., authorities said.
Once inside the suspect displayed a firearm, struck a 23-year-old worker in the head with the firearm, and stole approximately $5,689 from him.
The suspect then fled the location on foot and was last seen entering the Lafayette Avenue A/C subway station.
The employee suffered minor injuries and refused medical attention.
