NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for trio of men in a Buick accused of robbing a man at gunpoint near LaGuardia Airport earlier this month.
At approximately 10 a.m., on Sunday, Sept. 1, a 35-year-old man was approached by the three suspects opposite 24-16 83rd Street, authorities said.
According to officials, the suspects were sitting inside a white vehicle before exiting and displaying a firearm.
They demanded the victim’s property and then forcibly removed the victim’s jewelry and iPhone before fleeing in a white Buick sedan traveling eastbound on Astoria Boulevard.
