NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Police on Thursday released surveillance footage of two suspect they said used an assault rifle to rob a Bronx smoke shop earlier this week.
At approximately 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, the two suspects entered Cloudy Cloud located at 2141 White Plains Rd. in Pelham Parkway, displayed a firearm and stole $1,000 in cash and $2,500 worth of merchandise, officials said.
The suspects then fled the location in a black SUV westbound on Lydig Avenue towards Bronx Park East.
The first suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with red trim, black pants, black shoes, black and white mask and white gloves.
The second suspect was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black mask and white sneakers.
