3 students slashed near Brooklyn high school

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Three students were stabbed near Brownsville Academy High School in Brooklyn Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The incident happened before 3 p.m. at East New York Avenue near East 98th Street.

One student, 18, has a wound to the chest and is in critical condition. Another, 17, was slashed in the head and is currently in stable condition. The third student, 17, received a slash wound across the chest and is also in stable condition.

The three victims were rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County.

The investigation is ongoing.
