NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A train struck and killed a person inside a Brooklyn subway station on Friday, according to a report.
The person was on the tracks at the York Street and Jay Street station in downtown Brooklyn around 11 a.m. on Friday when a Manhattan-bound F train hit them, officials told the Daily News.
Emergency responders pronounced the person dead at the scene, the outlet reported.
It wasn't immediately clear how the person ended up on the tracks, and police didn't immediately release the person's name or age.
An investigation is ongoing.
