NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for three people who forced their way into a Bronx deli and then attacked and robbed a 66-year-old worker inside, sending him to a hospital.
The trio forced open the front door of the deli on White Plains Road, near E. 230th Street, in the Wakefield section around 4:40 a.m. last Saturday, according to police.
Surveillance video released by the NYPD on Saturday shows one of the suspects kicking open the door and the others following him inside.

Once inside, they punched, kicked and threw the 66-year-old employee to the floor, police said.
The trio then stole $600 from a register and took off, according to police.
The employee was taken to an area hospital with swelling to his head and body.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
