NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A group of teenagers attacked a man before stealing his scooter in the Bronx last week, the NYPD said Wednesday.

The 38-year-old man was scootering east on East 174th Street, near Ward Avenue, in Soundview around 9:40 p.m. on July 26 when three teenagers approached him and started an argument, police said.

As the dispute escalated, one of the teens punched and kicked the man, the NYPD said.

He and the two other teens fled with the man's scooter after the attack, police said.

The man didn't report any physical injuries after the attack, according to police. The three teens appeared to be between the ages of 15 and 18, the NYPD said.

Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
