NEW YORK (WCBS 880) – Three thieves robbed a New York state parole officer at gunpoint in the Bronx this week, police said Wednesday.
The on-duty parole officer was robbed on Leland Avenue, near Archer Street, in the Parkchester section around 5:45 a.m. Monday, according to police.
The trio pulled a gun on the officer and ordered him not to move, police said. They then stole his service weapon from its holster, as well as his cellphone.
The suspects were last seen headed southbound on Leland Avenue, police said.
