NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD and the Richmond County District Attorney's Office are hosting a gun buyback event on Staten Island on Saturday.
The event will be held at the Edward K. Esposito Community Center in Grant City from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Anyone who turns in a pistol or assault rifle will get a $200 bank card or an iPad no questions asked.
Twenty-five dollar bank cards will also be available for rifles, shotguns and airguns.
There will be a limited stock of iPads, so they'll be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
No law enforcement officials will participate in the event.
