Twin brothers shot in Brooklyn: one dead, one wounded

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a gunman who shot twin 20-year-old brothers Brooklyn on Thursday, killing one and wounding the other.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired near Euclid and Sutter avenues in Cypress Hills around 2:40 p.m.

Upon arrival, cops discovered one victim with a gunshot wound to the chest and his twin brother with a gunshot wound to the leg and a graze wound to the head.

Both men were taken to Brookdale Hospital, where Darius Coles was pronounced dead. His brother is in stable condition.

Police say the suspect fled the scene on a bicycle.
