
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Uber launched a new low-cost shared shuttle service on Tuesday to get riders to and from LaGuardia Airport and Manhattan.
Riders can reserve up to four seats up to seven days before their intended travel date.
The shuttle vehicles have a 14-passenger capacity and run every 30 minutes from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Each rider can bring one personal item and one piece of luggage.
There are two routes with multiple pick-up stops to and from LaGuardia Airport and Midtown.
Route 1:
- LGA Airport Terminal C on Arrivals
- LGA Airport Terminal B Arrival level 1 – Pillar 5
- Grand Central Terminal
- Port Authority Terminal
Route 2:
- LGA Airport Terminal C on Arrivals
- LGA Airport Terminal B Arrival level 1 – Pillar 5
- Penn Station LIRR 34th Street
Uber Shuttle fare is based on the route distance and number of seats selected. Fares are fixed and are not subject to surge pricing.
Payment for the shuttle must be made via the Uber App as cash is not accepted on board the shuttle. It is also not possible to board the shuttle without prior reservation.
You can track your shuttle’s location up to 25 minutes before your designated pick-up time and get real-time shuttle updates on the Uber app. The driver will wait a maximum of two minutes.
When boarding the shuttle, riders can check in by scanning the QR code in the Uber app. The driver will drop passengers at their designated drop-off point.
