NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- U.S. Park Police said they’re searching for three suspects on dirt bikes after a federal officer was severely injured during an attempted traffic stop in Queens last week.
The agency’s New York field office posted photos of the trio Sunday as they search for them in last Wednesday’s encounter.
According to police, the three of them fled the traffic stop attempt the area of Fort Tilden in the Rockaways around 2:20 p.m.
"As a result of the suspects' actions during the incident, a United States Park Police officer sustained severe injuries," police said in their release.
Authorities didn't say how the officer was injured or what the injuries were.
The suspects were last seen on Nostrand Avenue in south Brooklyn, according to police.
