NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released surveillance images on Friday of a man who allegedly carved antisemitic messages onto the door of an Upper East Side establishment last month.

It happened just before 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 27 at the Groiler Club, a private club for book lovers and graphic arts fans, located at 47 E. 60th St.

The suspect allegedly used a sharp instrument to carve anti-Jewish remarks on the club’s front door, police said.

He was approached by a 24-year-old establishment employee, at which point officials said he flashed the carving instrument while hurling antisemitic comments.

There were no injuries reported in connection to this incident, which is being investigated by the NYPD's Hate Crime Task Force.

Police said the suspect fled eastbound on E. 60th Street, and that he was last seen wearing a blue jacket, burgundy pants and black shoes.
