NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man confronted by a Bronx store employee about his alleged shoplifting attempt used a gun to scare the worker away, police said.
On Friday, Dec. 10 at about 11 a.m., a person tried to take groceries from Antillana on 124 West Fordham Road in University Heights, police said.
According to authorities, a store employee approached the man to try and stop him. But after arguing, the suspect flashed a gun.
The employee appears to back away at that point, and cops said the man fled with the unknown amount of items on 183rd Street.
No injuries were reported.
Video of the incident was released depicting the suspect, who police describe as a man wearing a multicolored jacket, dark pants, multi-colored sneakers and a black surgical mask.
