NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man was shot and robbed by four people on a busy upper Manhattan street, police said Sunday as they released surveillance video of the attack and a getaway vehicle they're searching for.
The 23-year-old victim was approached by the group on W. 207th Street, near Sherman Avenue in Inwood, shortly before 1:30 a.m. on June 11, according to police.
The assailants tried to steal the man's jewelry, but he resisted, police said.
One person in the group then shot the man multiple times in his body, buttocks and leg, according to police.

Video shows the gunman firing and others in the group grappling with the man as cars pass nearby.
Police said the group stole the man's watch and fled in a white Mercedes sedan driven by a fifth person. Video shows the Mercedes police are searching for.
EMS took the victim to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition.
