NEOCONSET, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — Six construction workers were injured in a building collapse on Long Island that left one person in critical condition and another in serious condition, according to fire officials.

The building collapsed around 1:30 p.m. at a boat storage yard called the Great Oak Marina in Neoconset, authorities said.

Security cameras from the Touch of Class Car Wash next door captured video of the building's facade collapsing.

Emergency responders rushed the victims to Stony Brook University Hospital, with one of the injured airlifted out of the rubble.

The building was undergoing renovation and had an open permit when it collapsed — pinning workers under cinder blocks, officials told Newsday in a statement.
