NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Two thieves on a scooter snatched a woman's purse on a Brooklyn sidewalk, sending the victim crashing to the ground, video released by police Wednesday shows.
The 41-year-old woman was walking near 57th Street and Eighth Avenue in Sunset Park on Sunday night when the hooded pair rolled up behind her at 9:20 p.m., police said.
Video shows the scooter's passenger grabbing the woman's purse and violently pulling her to the pavement as she holds onto the handbag.

The woman suffered injuries to her face and right hand. She was taken to Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition.
The purse contained a cellphone and $700 in cash, police said.
