NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A pair of gunmen unsuccessfully tried to rob a Dior store in Midtown on Sunday, surveillance footage shows.
The two gunmen walked into the luxury store on 5th Avenue, between East 58th and 59th streets, around 3:30 a.m. and drew their weapons, the NYPD said.
As soon as security confronted the gunmen, however, they fled the store without taking anything, police said.
The two drove east on East 59th Street in a red SUV after the robbery attempt, the NYPD said.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
