NEW YORK (WCBS 880) – A man shoved a delivery worker off her e-bike in Chelsea and then rode away on the vehicle, police said Thursday as they released video of a suspect.
The 40-year-old delivery-woman was near W. 19th Street and Eighth Avenue around 9 p.m. on May 5 when the man came up and pushed her off the bike, according to police.
Video shows the man trying to navigate the stolen bike through a crowd on the sidewalk as a woman who appears to be the delivery worker chases after him.
The delivery worker wasn't injured in the robbery.
Police said her unrecovered Zoom e-bike has a value of $1,500.
