VIDEO: NYPD seek man who yelled, spat on woman riding subway on Upper West Side

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released a video Wednesday night of a man wanted for spitting on a woman while riding the train in an apparent random attack on the Upper West Side last week.

The incident occurred at around 1:35 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6, aboard a northbound 1 Train at the 103 Street Station, police said.


According to officials, the unidentified man approached the victim, a 27-year-old woman, and began yelling at her, and then spit on her as he was exiting the train.

The victim was not injured authorities said.
