NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Jumaane got jiggy with it at Sunday's Pride March.
Jumaane Williams, the NYC Public Advocate and Democratic gubernatorial candidate, marched -- errr, danced -- in the parade down Fifth Avenue and through Greenwich Village.

"At #Pride we celebrate the progress that has been made for the LGBTQ+ and TGNC communities, commit to the fight to protect that progress, and pledge to push forward," Williams tweeted. "Honored to join @princessjanaep in todays march and in the ongoing work for justice."

Traveling with Williams was Princess Janae Place. The organization "offers a community-based, safe and accessible place for people of transgender experience to connect to critical services and support," according to its website.
