NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A man brutally beat a Queens office worker with a garden hose—as his two accomplices stood nearby and recorded the brazen attack with their cellphones, police said Tuesday as they released surveillance video of the assault.

The victim, a 57-year-old man, was inside an office at 219-03 Northern Blvd. in Bayside at 12 p.m. on Nov. 7 when three masked men casually walked inside.

Video shows the first of three men lashing the victim with a garden hose as two others stand back and hold up cellphones to record the attack.

Police said the assailant used the metal hose nozzle to strike the victim repeatedly.

He suffered redness and swelling and was treated at the scene by EMS.

The suspects quickly fled the office and remained at large more than a month later.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
