VIDEO: Road rage takes a terrifying turn when driver slams into Queens bakery after being beaten by bat

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A motorist in Queens took road rage to another level Monday after plowing into a Flushing bakery -- in an attempt to ram another car -- leaving Rainbow Bakery littered with shattered windows and shaken staff and customers.

The incident began after two cars, with two occupants each, got into a dispute over a parking space.

This is when things got out of control: the occupants of one of the vehicles got out of the car with a baseball bat and approached the other vehicle. The bat-wielding man and the other driver then duke it out.

The man who was being beaten by the bat -- identified as Jie Zou, 24 -- then returns to his Audi, and seemingly appears to ram into the other vehicle.

But that didn't happen: Instead the driver of the Audi ends up slamming into the bakery sending glass flying and people fleeing.

Police are investigating and there are no charges yet.
