NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police said they're searching for a man they believe groped five women in subway stations since early September.
Three of the attacks were in September and two more were in October, police said. They occurred at subway stations in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
The first incident was back on Sept. 4 at the Atlantic Avenue subway station in Brooklyn. Police said the man approached a woman on a Q train platform and grabbed her buttocks as she bent down to attend to her child in a stroller.
The suspect groped another woman that same day in Manhattan, police said. The 36-year-old victim was in the Delancey Street/Essex Street station on the Lower East Side when the suspect allegedly grabbed her buttocks.
Police said the suspect struck again on Sept. 24 at the Lawrence Street–MetroTech station in downtown Brooklyn. A woman was on an R train platform when the man slapped her buttocks, according to police.
A 27-year-old woman was then targeted by the man at the DeKalb Avenue station in downtown Brooklyn on Sunday morning, police said. The woman was waiting on an N train platform, when the suspect grabbed her buttocks, according to police.
The latest incident was on Monday afternoon, when a 33-year-old woman was groped at the Times Square–42nd Street station. Police said the suspect came up to her on an R train platform and glided his hands against her right buttock.
Police said no physical injuries were reported in any of the incidents.
NYPD surveillance video shows the masked suspect leaving a subway station.
